What do the Letters mean when describing a Car?
DX - Deluxe.
LX - Luxury.
EX - Extra (sometimes seen as EX-L, "Extra Luxury", often top tier).
S - Sport.
SS - Super Sport.
GT - Grand Touring (or Gran Turismo).
AWD - All-Wheel Drive.
4WD - Four Wheel Drive.
ABS - Anti-lock braking system.
AWS - All-Wheel Steering.
SE - Special Edition or Sports Edition.
R - Race.
R/T - Road and Track (or Rally Touring).
RS - Rally Sport.
SL - Sport Light (usually small trucks) or Series Limited.
ST - Sport Touring.
i - Injected (Holdover from back when fuel injection was unique; Honda had Si "Sport injected" and BMW had 325i (325injected) eg.)
LE - Limited Edition.
LTD - Limited.
