Why Paris and its people are the perfect inspiration for stand-up comedians
Two of Paris's most loved stand-up comedians speak to Eve Jackson about "the Parisians" who have served as inspiration for their comedy shows for years – from their defying bluntness and honesty to their severe rudeness, their fashion style and their unmatchable culture. Frenchman Olivier Giraud has a show in English called "How to Become a Parisian in One Hour" which is about to hit the one million spectator mark. British comedian Paul Taylor has spent the past year on a world tour from Montreal to Monaco to Manchester with his bilingual show "Bisoubye x", selling out some iconic venues along the way. His final show will be at Paris's Zenith arena in January.
